Wexford Light Opera Society, taking advantage of new technology have launched a WhatsApp Community News Group, where administrators of the group can send notifications directly to members via WhatsAPP to ensure upcoming activities and events associated with WLOS.

By joining the community group, you will only receive messages from WLOS administrators and there is no facility to reply within the community group, so rest assured your phone will not keep pinging all day long. For additional privacy and safety in communities, your phone number is only visible to WLOS Community Admins, people who have your number saved in their contacts, or those who have your number from your other chats. All other participants will not see your full phone number when you react to announcements in the Community. And what’s more you can manage your membership of the group via WhatsAPP and change at any time.
