​Wexford Light Opera Society are geared up to captivate audiences yet again with the annual spectacle “Hits From The Musicals”.

The much-anticipated 2023 edition of this event will span four enchanting evenings, starting from Monday 30th October, and running through Thursday 2nd November 2023, in Clayton Whites Hotel, coinciding with the Wexford Opera Festival.

Each night of the “Hits From The Musicals” show will commence at 8pm, with doors opening at 7.30pm allowing attendees to immerse themselves in the magical world of musical theatre. 

The musical repertoire curated for these performances encompasses a delightful blend of timeless classics and contemporary gems from the world of Musical Theatre.

These magnificent melodies will be brought to life by the renowned chorus of the Wexford Light Opera Society, a chorus that has garnered accolades for its prowess.

​Complimenting this ensemble are renowned WLOS performers making their return to the stage alongside the society.

​Guided by the Musical Direction of David Hayes, Director Stephen Byrne, and Chorus Mistress Eithne Corrigan, the event is set to capture the essence of the fringe festival's highlights yet again this year.

​Leading the evening's festivities with her infectious humour and charm is the esteemed Catherine "Biddy" Walsh, who assumes the role of Master of Ceremonies.
